    Hit counter

My real estate website gets an average of 65 unique visitors a day and around 750 a month. I'm very proud of it as it has also given me great leads. But not everyone who comes to the site contacts me although they do go to the contact form page(i use the spy on statpress to know). So I've been trying to find ways that will inspire my visitors who do go as far as the contact form page to go though with it. Which brings me to my question. If you see stats like 2000 on a counter does that inspire you as a visitor and does it add credibility to my site?

    Thanks

I think visitor counters do quite the opposite, as it reminds me of personal web pages from 199x. If someone still uses a visitor counter on their site I'm just thinking that the site hasn't been updated in ages. My 2 cents.
