I hear all sorts of figures tossed around from pennies to thousands of dollars per month using affiliate programs. I was wondering what your experience has been with your typical domain and how many ads you have placed on that domain to get those results.

For example, one of my sites is: http://www.Assessor.com

During the slow tax time of year it gets about 100 unique visitors/day and during the busy season it averages 500/day.

The average monthly commission on this site is about $80. We make our money from directing property taxpayers to our Consultants website, but it seems like with that many visitors we should be getting much more revenue.
