I want to build a site where it's mostly information submitted by users of the site. Say it was something like submit your own food recipe and then the users could search through all the ones submitted.
What type of program would you use to build it? I don't want to use a forum.
doesn't joomla allow you to do something like that.
You can use WordPress for it. =) Allow people to register and let them post. You can even moderate their posts while using all plugins such as post rating.
