Anyone need a simple Parking page for their Domain? I had this site working for a bit awhile ago before my host crashed.

I now have a new host and I am considering starting it back up. Do you think I should. Does anyone need this type of service?

Is this offer still available? I have 2 little domains that I need to get very simple pages up for. 2 pages (1 for each domain), 1 - 2 graphics per page, some text, and maybe some ad banners (hosted off site). Basically less than 1 meg of space, and very little bandwidth.

Just contact me via PM with the 2 Domains which need to be parked. I will setup the accounts and then send you your FTP, DNS info for each.

I would appreciate it if you would perhaps include a small link to www.Parkn.com via a small image (the one at the bottom). Only once Parkn is completed of course.

Will you need stats as well? I would imagine yes.

Hi,

I did setup 2 accounts for NoFolio but he never did anything with them so they where deleted. I kinda put Parkn.com development on hold for now, busy working on other stuff. I also didnt get many requests so still deciding if I should even bother with this MyDomain type of service.

Is it simply to put up a "Domain For Sale" page that you need or something more involved?

Just a coming soon page, basically with perhaps a few samples of what the site will be about. I'm interested in developing some info sites with books etc. available for sale. I'd just like to have something there (at least a front page) so that visitors can see what it's all about, while I try to find the time to develop it.

I decided to answer your ?'s here incase other Members had simular ?'s.

My intention with Parkn.com was to provide "Free Domain Name Parking" so that is why the space is only 5mb. It is more towards Domain Resellers/Developers wishing to make a simple yet functional "Domain For Sale Page" or "Coming Soon Page", I have decided to up the space to 15mb and provide 200mb of transfer.

You do get 3 eMail accounts @yourdomain.com, the default one and 2 which you can choose. Your potential buyers will be able to contact you directly and you will have Browser based Webmail access to send replies. Stats can be viewed via FTP so you will also be able to track your hits/traffic to your Domain. I have a max per Member of 2 Domains to start, but seeing as I dont have too much interest I will allow 5 Domains per DNF Member. Please note that if any spamming happens your account will be terminated on the spot, no notice and no second chances will be provided.

I am providing this service at my expense and hope that all account holders will play by the rules.

There would be no CGI / PHP / SQL access included with the Parkn account. I would be able to provide full Hosting if that was what you are looking for at reasonable prices www.tldn.com/host.html . I was thinking of only offering hosting to my direct clients via TLDN with a few exceptions. I am not looking to become the next RackShack, hosting thousands of sites.

As far as being a Designer, I enjoy making logos, I am always willing to design something for anyone. I might not always be able to create something you like, but I try my best and if you are totally unsatisfied with the Design I provide, I will gladly refund your money. Its a matter of taste and we each have our own likes and dislikes.

Just writing to say thankyou for setting up everything! It's all gone really smoothly.

I've just put the Parkn logo on the "coming soon" page, and will definately include it on the completed site once I have it ready.

I used to just use "stats4all.com" to do the stats for my sites, but just recently all the data was corrupted for some unknown reason, so I was wondering if your stats were working, or if you could recommend something.

I work in design also (costume, fashion, photography, and even graphics occasionally ) I really appreciate your work, and hopefully one day I can return the favour.
