Improving Image Quality for Scans of Artworks

Hi guys,

Just looking for a little free advice here. My wife is developing a website at www.childoffortune.com , and she has trouble getting high-quality results from scanning photo-transparencies (slides) of oil and acrylic paintings. Got any tips? (see her current efforts here: Art Link

If you have any suggestions, you can post them here or email to taracarreon@lycos.com

Thanks,
Charles Carreon

It depends on what you mean by "high-quality results" ... mnd rendering more detailed specifications?
