1. Wordpress is the easiest to learn for a noob. Joomla tougher, Drupal toughest. WP and Joomla communities are really noob friendly, drupal - not as much.

Packt is a commercial organisation trying to sell books. They want to make sure all the largest communities are well represented.
How is Drupal overall #1 and Joomla PHP #1, does Drupal run on perl? I've voted but less said the better.
3. Aesthetically both Joomla and WP beat Drupal hands down.
