Keeping Visitors Coming Back - DNForum - Domain Sales, Domain Forum, Domain Appraisals, Domain Registrars

I'm interested in some of the suggestions board members have for keeping visitors coming back to your site(s)? Obviously updating your content is key but beyond that what tools are you using?

I've got a new site I am preparing to launch and I wanted to get some thoughts.

Here is a short list:

1. Forums
2. "This Day In History (your industry, etc.)"
3. Games
4. RSS feeds
5. Surveys

Just thought this might be a posting we would use to exchange some ideas.

Thoughts about what has and has not worked?

I agree updating content is the key to get repeat visitors on to your site. Forums are not very easy to run, specially getting members on to it. So if you do start a forum then keep it updated with new posts and threads. With RSS feeds the visitors to your web site will find fresh content on each visit.
