I wish to develop an "online community" site for a county that consists of the usual ingredients: forum, blogs for approved users, multiple calenders, restaurant/shop/etc reviews, classified ads, informational pages, gallery, and perhaps some social networking functionality. I need the ability to run Adsense type ads in good places on the site, and the ability to sell banner ads and sponsorships to local companies.

Although somewhat of a techie, I'm not good enough, nor do I want to spend the time, to develop such a community based upon one of the common CMS systems or vbulletin plus addons. So, I'm looking for either 1) a script that does all this I've missed, or 2) a developer that has created such sites before. Can anyone recommend someone or some group for this. I know I can put it out for bid at a freelance site, but I'd rather start this way.

What I don't want is too many various scripts pieced together with mods and hacks which make maintenance a bear.
