Looking for a script

I'm looking for a script that would be similar (since I can't think of any other sites) to Mr Skin's site (Mr Skin is a site that will tell you what celebrities have nude scenes in what movies and what time frames etc. You can search by celebrity or movie).

I'm looking for a similar script - the project will be similar (but it will be "G" rated - don't worry, it's not an adult site). Think the same idea but different medium(s) and "search" interests.

Imagine a site where you could search got alcohol references in music (not my actual idea). You can search by types of alcohol, genre of music, artist, or other keywords.

I've been wondering different ways of doing this - I could do Wordpress but searching might be lacking and a bit too cumbersome for WP. This might be a job for Joomla but I wouldn't know how to program it myself. :(

Any other suggestions? Unfortunately my budget is low (as usual) but I might entertain paid scripts if the script is great (and customizable), not too expensive, and does what I need it to do.

I regularly search scripts, and haven't heard of anything like that. Alays good to try hotscripts though.

Normally I would go there but I've had bad luck with them - a lot fo times the scripts aren't free, even though they're marked as free, don't work, not customizable, are not like the screenshots / demos, dead links, or just plain suck.

I may just have to stick with WP and use tags, a lot.

I only use HotScripts as a starting point. I then continue researching on my own. Honestly though, this sort of thing seems quite complex. Don't think you'll get anything specifically for this, especially for free. Programming will cost a fortune as well. You could try doing it manually.

I could do it for you with Drupal.

That is assuming of course, that you don't want the system to automatically detect alcohol references in videos/songs!

I am guessing that you want a system where:

-users can add content to the website listing a celebrity, an alcohol type, a timeframe and possibly the video/audio clips themselves.

-you want users to be able to search/filter all of your content to narrow down results based on any of these factors.

-you want a scalable and modular content management framework (not a blog like wordpress).

That sounds about right, ftaylor (as well as the ability for me to add in ads etc.. and the change on the actuals).
