Looking for tips, a client wants to sell from her website...

I am looking to set up a website for a client and one aspect of the site will be selling a book that she has written. She does not want to pay for a full ecommerce solution and using PayPal is messy when it comes to shipping and handling and taxes... (at least I have found in the past)

Someone suggested to me that I could set up an Amazon store for her, but I am not exactly sure what that entails, I am reading about it now...

I tried a WordPress plugin but it still has limitations when it comes to shipping and taxes...

    Any suggestions?

If it's a single item then just add a single paypal button to her web site. If she wants to sell multiple products then she needs to use oscommerce.com or something similar.

Bit late on this, but you could use VirtueMart, an ecommerce plug in for Joomla.

I believe that allows you to add downloadable products to buy, and offers different types of payment gateways.
