I downloaded BlueVoda, which is a lot like front page, but it works better for me.
Blue voda includes everything, and its FREE.
Allows you to add meta tags in seconds, titles, head, body, footers. Everything is dumbed down, which makes it very easy for anyone to make a site.
Hosting: I was in search for cheap hosting. I came accross some ebay ads. I purchased hosting for $7 for an entire year on ebay. Hosting CP is through Cpanel, which I feel very comfortable with.
Make something simple if you would like.
People use FTP accounts... I've never used them... I simply take the HTML written out by Blue Voda, under "page html" and paste it into notepad.
From what I have learned, you have to save the document as index.html for your starter page.
you then go to your hosting account, and if its Cpanel, upload "index.html" into the "public html" folder.
If you placed any pictures or images, or shapes on your site, you will need to also upload them into the same place. (those do not have to be saved as .html)
If you want to make another page... say a subpage off a link on your index page... make the page on Blue Voda, do the same with the html, and save it in notepad. ALWAYS USE .html!
Say you save your page as link1.html
Upload that page into public html, and that page will now be located at www.yourwebsite.com/link1.html
Easy as pie. If everyone makes an attempt to develop, you will not only be helping yourself establish a higher number of visitors... but you will also be contributing to a more established internet which will lead to higher market values.
