Making Money with a Blog

Would you mind giving me a few pointers about how I can possibly generate revenue from my blog? I can be found at http://www.ElliotsBlog.com or http://www.TopNotchDomains.com/Blog

You need to post something every day, I believe word press allows you to post date blog posts, so you can do 3 days worth of posts in one day when you have time.

This is a must, 7 days a week, not 5 as 5 leads to 4 which leads to 3 then to what is a post.

With a few simple programs with the traffic that you currently get you should see a small but steady flow.

A. Very good design for the blog

Issues that I see, my recommendations.
1. Make http://www.topnotchdomains.com/blog/
redirect to:
http://www.ElliotsBlog.com it is shorter, unless you want to promote topnotchdomains only and more than your blog. Plus you can expand out with "elliotsblog.com" more than topnotchdomains, which 90% of the poeple in the world will stereotype you as a "domainer". Shorter is better. You should have the blog on different IP as topnotchdomains.com as well.

Add contentlink to your blog, textlinkads, google adsense, sign up for reviewme.

4.
Add photo's/drawing to your posts and use the alt tags correctly

Place a AD, just below the title of each post to the right, like on JohnChow.com.

6.
Put 2 places to sell you own ads, put a ad to your topnotchdomains and another website from cj.com or just another website that you think is really good.

7.
you need to start with google adsense, to make space for future ads.

Anthony - all of this information is great. I am going to speak with the person who helped put this together and see if he can help me out with the redesign.

Blogging has become a fun hobby for me. Since I am not at the financial level of Frank, Sahar, Rick, Owen...etc and many of the other great domain bloggers, I would like to incorporate some revenue generating devices to make it financially rewarding as well. I will keep you posted.
