My Dvd Player

I just spent the major part of this evening working on a new forum header for my site hiphopdvds.com.

the fruits of my labour so far may be found @

I have yet to finalise the links and add it to my skin (needs some work before the site goes... "live").

If people are interested I could probably edit this to be the logo for any dvd site which has up to 7 main links. (or remove/add buttons on the right as needed)

I could even add a config file for you to update the links should you wish.

all wrapped up in a nice php include file for you to add to any php page by adding the code

not to mention the photoshop psd file and the free mac/windows font used on the mock lcd display.

would anyone that has a dvd based site be interested in buying all that for say $15 paypal?

Hey - are you using an image map for the links - or are the little buttons separate gif's? I forgot to check.

its one big image i made then sliced up in photoshop...

Yeah that's pretty slick. I was going to send you a pm with a couple questions - but I will just ask them here in case somebody else might be interested in buying it.

OK - as you know I do graphic design work myself. I'm a photoshop freak - and I use dreamweaver to build and edit my pages. However I am not a script guy - and php might as well be pcp because I just don't do it. Heh! So where does that leave me with this?

Will this be editble/usable in Dreamweaver? What about the text on the mouse-overs? Go ahead an answer those questions while I think about any more - and go look at it again.

I actually used dreamweaver to put this together.

i dont 'do' javascript so i took the easy way out.

the text on the mouseovers are image files but as its on a black background it could be pretty much what you want so long as you kept in with the scheme.

also as i think i said i have the whole thing in a layered .psd file already sliced up so you just neeed to duplicate the text layer and add your own text then save as web for just that slice. then you update the behavior in dreamweaver.

the letters on the buttons as well are just single text layers so could be changed (add an inner shadow to make them look engraved) even add a glow and update dreamweaver so they change colour on the mouseover.

Ciq - are you going to be using it on your site? So besides that - how many versions/copies will you sell?

Even though I don't have a music site in the works - if it remains fairly exclusive - I will buy it from you because I really like it. It's a very nice interface - and I won't have any problem finding something to use it on.

I am getting ready to go pick up my brother from work - and then we are going out for a little while to eat - and visit some friends. Either send me a pm or email with what you think your plans are - and if appropriate - I will purchase it from you first thing tomorrow when I get back!

(If so - take that sucker down before .......... well you know)
