Country: | my own parked design Hi,
Just wanting to find out what people think of my parked design.
I do web and video design, so I thought I could utilize my skills for my domains.
Also because I am relatively new to this, am I allowed to have google adsense on the same page, where I might sell advertising of my own?
agggh am I allowed to put my site address up?
Cheers

Post your URL.
What's parked design?
Is your domain parked at one of the parking providers
such as Parked.com or Sedo.com? Quote:

Country: | It says no adverting, so I wasn't sure if I could put it up and if that's the case I was happy to delete post
Ok so it's www.2wrd.com
I mean I will park it, in the sense that I will be parking it myself and put google adsense on the domain.

Where are contents?
Without contents, google will ban you if you put adsense on that page.

Country: | A parked page is virtually a page without any content and only advertising, which is allowed only by parking companies, like SEdo Parked, Name Drive, etc.
A web-site contains content, which is a prerequisite for advertising with companies like Google.
Of course you can sell your own advertising space without any content, but why would anyone advertise on a page without any content. |

| Parking companies allow for traffic form two sources.
1. Direct type in,
2. Old links.
They don't allow from new links, or any advertised source.
Your question is still valid though, but those are the rules.
As a suggestion I would say creating a site demenstrating your work, and instaed of selling advertising, purchase advertising to try to get jobs from your site. |

Country: | Thanks fab. I already have a portfolio site with my design and video work. I kind of want to keep that separate.
Good to know about links. |
