Is my plan too simple?

Hi,
I just recently picked up spinningrims.info, which is a decently popular search term "Spinning Rims" and is the actual name of a product. My plan is to put up a site with as much information as I can on spinning rims , pay someone to get me good search engine placement, and then have affiliate ads for spinning rims. Spinning rims can cost well over a grand and commissions can be 7-10% in some programs I've seen. If everything goes well, I figure if I could get one sale per day I'd make $70-$100 a day. Is this feasible?

I couldnt agree more. Today was the first time in probably 4 months I seen a set on a Ford Expedition. And I'm in a heavy traffic well populated part of Florida. They are indeed fading away. Which is a good thing
Nice concept though, Just maybe find a new niche and try the same thing

Yeah I think I will find something else. Thanks for the advice. For affiliate focused sites, do you guys usually focus on higher priced items? I feel like it would be nice to get a large payout from one sale.

I'm curious what the online market for spinning rims is... seems like something you'd actually wanna drive into a garage for to check out and look at.

Yeah I was thinking that also. I figured if it was something that someone already had checked out in person and was just looking for a cheaper price, then the concept could work online. Is anyone out there an affiliate for high priced items say over $1k and makes actual sales consistently?

Yeah, I'm more apt to buy wheels in person just so I know i got the right offsets, backspacing, etc.

spinners aint cool anymore.. Now everyone wants black rims. Chromes are also still cool, but spinners - naah .. I would've put my time and effort into another project.

Find another project and focus on creating the best content in that industry.
