I use Barclays Merchant Services, and they are extremely secure. I do not have any experience with online ones other than Paypal to recommend.

I was thinking of using 2CO for the info product websites.
I haven't the slightest idea what Merchant account is secure, high integrity and not so pricey for the on-line product stores.
Does anyone use a merchant account that they have been happy with that has been effcient providing credit card service and paypal?
Thanks for any advice,
Thor

Thanks Paul. I'll defintely look into this one. Anyone else use a merchant account they are happy with? Would like a few for comparison.
As always, thanks,
Thor
2Co is a third party processor but a good option if you don't want to apply for your own merchant account. A merchant account will have recurring costs, so if you are only selling a few items here and there 2co or paypal are probably enough.

Thanks Kate.
The physical product store (not info products) will be loaded (about 100 products) and will be ongoing so I am looking for a Merchant account company that is secure and inexpensive.
2co is fine for the info products.
Thor,
I see you are based in the US. Did you approach your bank already as they may offer processing services ?

There are 100's of merchant account companies that take care of an online stores credit card customers.
Every store owner has to use one. I was just asking which was the most secure out of the ones people are using. Which company they have great relationship with.
I'm surprised nobody has mentioned one. But maybe in this forum the group sells domains or info products and really doesn't know.
Thank you for answering though. It was quite kind.
Thor
