I would like to develop my domain travelbud.com into a travel site intended mainly for finding travel partners.
I have no development experience. Need both good ides/concept and actual development and design.

Talk to the big guys (Travelocity, Hotwire, airlines, hotels, etc..) about affiliate programs. I'm sure most will have search link widgets / plugins you can use on your site. Make them look neat with enough keyword rich content and you should be all set.

not related to this, but check out the interface at cleartrip.com...I love their clean look. If you do end up making this website, it would be great if you can make it neat and clean looking, unlike the botched up, complicated mumbo jumbo of most large websites.

I like the idea though. Traveling alone is just plain boring at times
