I am using a wild west reseller account for the email host.
No matter what I do, I keep getting an MX record error.
I need to get this email active. My wife will be leaving for Atlanta this Wednesday. She will be attending a dog training conference that includes Temple Grandin. This is a huge national conference.
If you can help, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks, but as I mentioned I am not interested in another service.
Here is the issue.
Domain is at EaglesDomain.
Email account is at EaglesDomain.
Site is hosted on Hostgator.
Therein lies the problem; the name, the site, the host account, and email account are not hosted at the same place.
Need to get MX records straightened out for the two to mesh.
Did you change the MX records at HostGator and set the priority right?.
Nope, I have no idea how to do it or where to start.
I complicated the issue by moving the domain name to a new registry and then using hostgator to host it.
I am now looking to see how I can host the site on my GoDaddy reseller account.
I have never dealt with MX matters and have no idea where to start.
You need to follow these steps:
1) Go to EaglesDomain. Click the domain to get MX Record for the mail you have created there- normally its like this dkjdw9834w93.hostmail.com
2) Go to HostGator and click mail setup and enter the above MX Record and set the priority to 10.
3)Now all mails sent to the email would be redirected to EaglesDomain. You now would be able to access your mail at EaglesDomain
Hope this would help.
Cheers.
