DNF$: 1,218 | Need webmail for multiple POP's when roaming Hi all,
I have a simple problem that arises every time I travel.
I have about 20 email-accounts (coming from about 10 domains). Everything is fine as long as I can use my OutlookExpress to access the POP-accounts. I have my outlook configured so that it handles all the different email-accounts and so I have no problem most of the time. But my trouble starts when I am travelling and don't have my laptop with me.
Because then I usually need to go to each of these email-accounts (most of them have webmail-sites) and work with them seperately. A cumbersome process. I need to consolidate all of these different POP's into one webmail-account that reads and sends email through all the different account.
In short I need some webmail-account that can handle several different POP-accounts at once (reading and sending from these accounts). SPAM-control and Anti-Virus should be included also!
I have heard that SquirrelMail is supposed to have that multi-POP feature (not sure).
So here are my questions:
1) Which webmail-program works well with multiple POP- and SMTP-accounts?
2) Which hosting company offers such a webmail-account in reliable quality?
Thanks a lot for your help!
Greetings to all

You can have dozens of E-mail addresses (aliases), but most people would funnel them into say 2-3 (incl. Web-based E-mail) accounts at the most. I suspect you might have overlooked some very simple solution along the way. Would like to hear more. Thanks.

nameslave, 10 response-forms on different websites that are sent in via email and need to be sorted accordingly and I don't want to forward them all to one address, 1 account I use for spam-prone sites, 1 official email-address, 1 backup on a different server, an old yahoo-address, a hotmail-address (thanks to our wonderful Microsoft filled with 99% spam), .... it accumulates and email-accounts seem to multiply like rabbits )
Question answered?
Thanks to both of you. |

Question answered? | Yeah, we all have our fair share of HoTMaiL spam. LOL! As for mail form responses, you could still funnel them to one account but use filters ("Message Rules" in Outlook) to sort them into different folders automatically. You may also use different Outlook "Accounts" (from the "Tools" menu) so outbound messages look just like they are coming from respective domains. I have at least a dozen of very active e-mail addresses (all from different domains, and not to mention dozen others that I use less frequently), but most of the time, I am only using a couple of mailboxes (even though I have more than a handful for my disposal at no extra cost) all for the sake of convenience. Hope this helps.

DNF$: 1,218 | Re: Need webmail for multiple POP's when roaming Thanks nameslave. But I already signed up with runbox.com and solved all my problems in one day. I love their service, great SPAM killing and so far no false positives in the Trash-folder either. All my accounts are now routed through one runbox account and I can finally travel and still have full email-capabilities in webmail.
So problem solved. Thanks to both of you!
