Cable - loaded in ~6s
2-3 seconds for the page, amazon part 3-4 seconds (cable internet)
Thanks guys....say it again..Prob the best 60 bux I spent joining this forum..Very nice people here willing to help!!
Re-Tested a few times to get an idea on the max/average
10-15 tests completed, the longest it took was 7 seconds and the average was 5 seconds (this is amazon and everything fully loaded)
...cable internet, not really slow but it crashes a lot.
Cheers
WOW!!!!!!!!!!! Well..the reason I asked is someone told me that it took them like 25 seconds for the content to load. That REALLY REALLY had me concerned. Nothing I dislike more than when I'm going to a website and it takes forever for everything to appear...
THank you 9mm
Amen, it's still a little slow I guess but not that bad, the Amazon thing takes an extra 2-3 seconds compared to the rest of the page though so if possible you should speed it up a little.
25 seconds? He must be on dial up
There's a lot on the site so it's no surprise it's a little slow.
He said he was using a FiOS network..whatever that is..

They say it's slow, so it's probably just a rare case, I'm sure not many people use FiOS
ahh..I see now...
wireless ~5 sec

20mbit DSL2 in Norway. 2 secs for the page itself to load, although the amazon banners took 5-6 seconds.
15 seconds. adsl 512/ or 752 connection here. Dialup would be a lot slower.
Tested it like 5 times around 3 seconds, amazon widget took 2 more seconds to load. DSL 512
i think you have every add company available running ads on that site
I have tried to use the unbox widget before but it just loads slow...Main site only takes 5 seconds but the rest of the site loads after 13 seconds..east coast comcast cable
I agree - less add will create more clicks on adds - right now seeing too many adds turns me off from page, makes me thingk that content is just there to support ads - remove some and the layout will be easier on eyes and visitors will stay longer - overall I like, i've been seeing the progress this past week...
1.5MbpS DSL (measured at about 1.3MbpS speed consistently).
About 8 seconds to get the content up and add in about another 3 seconds to get the Amazon.com box up.
And I'll agree, too many ads, looks like you're trying to hard.

about 5 seconds, but Amazon widget took a bit longer (still under 10seconds)
I appreciate all the input from everyone!!! Yes I agree..I am taking some adds down as I type...I hope this website can be a benefit for someone out there..I have been working hard the past week and a half. Any suggestions or comments are invited. Thank you everyone!!!!
