only 1 website VS multiple websites

    Hi everybody!!

I have a portfolio (50 websites). The DN are related to the same topic.
My goal is maximize my profit(Adsens) before selling those names.
Should I build 1 website/DN ( I mean 50websites) or just 1 website and redirect all my DN to this website.

    Thanks for your help.

1-2 main websites, many "supporting" websites with back-links and little to no duplicate content. If available, use different hosts to avoid the whole "IP" issue that Google tends to not link.

I have lot of web sites + lot of domains and struggle to pay for domain renewals.
My Fried has one major site and less than 5 domains and he banks $5K to 15k a month.
(his income vary but makes as if he has a 2nd full time job)

The IP issue is not the problem. Google frowns upon any link networks but if the sites are related this is not an issue.

To the OP, are the domains getting type-in traffic? If there not traffic domains what do you hope to achieve by redirecting them?

by Link Networks do you mean, "link farms" or crap directories...or what do you mean...
And your IPs all being on the same server..no problem for me either.

Stringing sites across multiple domains seems to work fine. One or two page per name and have the layout look pretty much the same w/ Unique content on each page/name.

Redirecting names that have no traffic is a lose/lose. Best to have something there and gain the link(s) back.

In other words, it's ok to interlink related sites, but interlinking sites which are not related on a large scale may cause problems.

Develop some basic content on each domain, set up hosting on different IP, back link to the primary domain AND from the primaries to the smaller sites. We're doing the same with a few hundred names we have; but our goal is developing ad revenue on a sponsorship model. Small charges on the small domains, larger charges for sponsorship of the bigger sites. Track not only the visits, but pageviews, time spent on site, pages visited, etc. A google account with analytics established will help with all of this, free of charge.

    Webring

Google "web ring" and make one of those.

It's good if you do a ring with some high value sites and yours mixed in

basically, think of linking around the spokes of a wheel (the sites being the spokes). Mix up some Facebook / squidoo / hubspace type pages with your own sites

make them all link back to your center hub of the wheel.

You'll need to put up a few blog posts and grab some videos or something to give the sites a little content, but then you can use them to direct google juice, instead of just a redirect which is a waste of your domain... at least park it somewhere else if you're not going to develop it.

I would do one site. I always choose quality over quantity. At the end quality always wins.
