Overture?

I don't currently use Overture but I have been considering it.
I did, however, notice they just announced a bump in their minimum bid from .05 to .10 which has made me think twice.

For any of you using Overture out there, how do you think this is going to effect you?

Thanks,

mbg

We run a campaign with UK Overture, Google Adwords and Espotting and we have approx. 30,000 keywords and a high ROI!

overture

I thought it was funny that in their email they sent me said that there was a small increase in the min bids. I guess they call a 100% increase a small increase

So How is the Overture bump going to effect your profits?

Are you using low bids on your words or are they over .10 anyways?

Thanks!

overture

It will probably not effect my profits. If anything it could get me better margins because some of the bottom feeders will be out of the picture. Those that were grand fathered into the minimum can still bid pennies but those that had problems converting the nickel bids will be out.

it will cause a little problem as approx 20,000 of the keywords are all at 7p and below. I'm sure we'll notice a difference but its out of our control
