"Whois On-hold Domain Grabber " Anyone tried this product?

Script that locates link pop and whois, with the ability to grab names for you.

This idea was originally posted in the Expiring Domains Category, many thought that this would be better seen in a different venue, so I have included some of the post to catch everyone up to speed.

Well let's test it.

Anyone interested in finding out if it really works, let me know.

I am actually trying to get enough interested in purchasing the full package. It's $195 for access, and $495 for the package, and resale rights. I may purchase the resale rights soon, if not enough interested, but I think if everyone invested a few bucks, then we could all have access to the scripts, and be able to sell them on our own site, and redirect to my site for downloads.

$10 for a copy of the scripts upon our ordering, or $50 for the reseller program. if we get 10 people to do the reseller investment, then we can easily make our money back by selling these scripts.

$50 is a small price to pay for a $500 package.
Each person will recieve, free Hosting of the scripts on my site, so that they are legally only being hosted on one reseller site, you can charge for the scripts on your site, then redirect them to my download area.

So $10 or $50? I like the second option better, and will invest my $50. They did sell these scripts alone for $45 each anyway, but now it's $195 to even get ahold of it from them.

Ok we have 9 people that have already invested in the $50 reseller package. Need one more interested party to get this thing rolling.

Check out all the scripts here, and see how usefull or sellable they could be. Great for people that want to build sites just to resell, or just to resell the scripts.

According to their site, they have over 1000+ scripts, and our intention is not to have to purchase the entire amount alone. Even if 50% of the scripts are outdated, we will have access to these scripts as well as any added in the future. I would agree that paying $200-500 wouldn't be wise to invest in a huge library of 50% obsolete scripts, but with a $50 investment, I am sure that each of us can find a few gems that are resellable.

Ok just to let everyone interested know, we are serious about this, we currently have 9 partners in this. keshe, ActNow, seriouswrong, -RJ-, nicorlino, anno_domaini, blueintr
, and Domainut.

Each has made his/her $50 contribution, and we need 3 more for purchase.

To those sitting on the fence, remember that you can make your money back quickly by just reselling the scripts, or using the scripts to give site's content , and then reselling the site. (this also could go well with those of you who resell hosting, build the site, and sell it using the scripts, in turn gaining another repeat monthl hosting customer.)

The way everyone should look at this opportunity -

If the script gets just "2" good names for you then it will pay for itself.

Correct, It does pay for itself in that view, and maybe more depending upon the name that it snags.

But this script isn't the only script that we are getting with this package, we will recieve about 1000 other scripts that can be usefull to those of us that need development in our potentially great names.

Many of us have names that are worth reg fee - $50 if undeveloped. But take one of these scripts that fits the undeveloped site, throw a design up with the script, and sell it for a few thousand.

Posted by Keshe: I would be willing to pick up someone else's and maybe more if they would do the programming of this software on a couple of sites. Have some other programming to do as well. So if a few more able webmasters are willing to do a little work, installing or even promoting. There is another person or two.

Anyone willing to do an install of some of these programs in exchange for the right to use and/or sell all these programs?

this looks like a decent way to make some money, and/or get some scripts for your site. Lot of software for $50.

I have had 4 more inquiries about this, and hopefully everyone sees the potential in this.

Sell domains, and offer scripts associated with that particular name for an additional charge or incentive to buy your domain at a cushioned price?

Ok guys, we have decided to purchase these scripts on friday, no matter how many investors we have. currently we have 3 paid, and 4 more comitted. If you have not paid, please make payment by friday, and/or myself and keshe will be purchasing the remaining spots. We are basically wasting time that we could be profitting from these scripts, so we have decided to set a date, and get this thing going.

nicorlino & anno_domaini Have made payment. Now we are waiting on 3 more payments, we have three that were insterested but have yet to send payment. NameCaster has already committed and is included, but the other two may not be reading the forums, they look new, and may have lost interest by now. Leaving two open space.

Only 2 More to Go, we will not be taking on any more partners at present, after that.

Good luck, guys! My company signed up for superscripts site access and downloaded all the scripts years ago when AUTONIC was one of the only domain related scripts on there, and NetSol was the only registrar. I never even got a around to using it (for one reason and another)!

I should scrounge around someday to see if I still have the username and password to that website. Useless commentary, I know, but I thought I'd mention it.

so no direct experience or knowledge of software? I mean did you ever use it. I know there is way to much for it all to work grear, but I hope a few do. All input is something, even if just a little knowledge.

Basically what we are doing shaggy is forming a partnership, and we will host all of the scripts on one main server, with each partner having a different user name and password. Therefore we will not have to rely upon their server being up at all times, but since we will all be partners in this, once all of the files have been downloaded and uploaded to our main server that we will use, then everyone will have access to the scripts, and it will be updated frequently. And yes we have 2 spots available until friday at 12pm central standard time.

Be careful with Superscirpts. Make sure that once you are in you download ALL of the scripts. I entered the site last year for like $25 and didn't download all of the scripts, I only took what I needed then when they jacked up the price my password was deleted without notice and none of my emails were answered!

No problem with that, we are not stealing, or illegally distributing these scripts. We are forming a partnership to resell the scripts. They will be hosted on one server, as stated, and each partner is a salesman that gets paid 100% commission per sale, and has access to the scripts, so that he/she may test them in order to know what he/she is selling, and how it works. Simple and not breaking any laws or rules of superscripts.com

Is the a rule or law against each of us pooling our money to become a reseller? We are not forming a warez, or piracy site. We are simply purchasing the scripts for resale, and we will resell them according to their rules.

SIMPLE RULES

MAP: Minimum advertised price for collections (multiple scripts at once, memberships) must not be lower than our advertised price
There is no maximum price fix!
MAP: Minimum advertised price for Single script sales price fix is $45
AGAIN - there is no maximum price fix!
All scriptnames, descriptions, graphics, and layout must be renamed (i.e. matchmasters must be renamed to something like matchblasters)
Copyright from superscripts MUST remain intact in all scripts - client never sees this

Also there are a few sites that say the exact same thing about Superscripts, that they won cases, and they steal code, etc. ask a few members for the links, I am sure you will find them amusing.
