Please help - Have you seen these logos before?

I'm having a new logo created for one of my sites and I could swear I've seen these designs on some other site. The graphic artist claims they are his own designs but I'm almost positive I've seen these on another site.

Please let me know if you've seen either of these logos on any other site. Thanks in advance for your help.
