I am sorry for possible offtopic, but I need your help in find new web Hosting provider as soon as possible, because my current host (ixwebhosting.com) is kicking me off, they say 'your account is using a lot server resources', but my website gets only about 200 visitors per day and my disk usage is 1500 MB (maybe they do not like that?)
Anyway, what would be your recommendations for getting reliable web hosting? Where are you hosting your websites? Are you happy with your providers?
I am now checking http://www.hosting24.com/ - offer looks very nice, but is it real that they can provide unlimited disk space?
I have contacted them about this question and they say something that "These days 500GB disk drive costs only $30 per month, so if some day we will run out of disk space we will simply add new 500GB disk drive with almost zero costs and you can continue uploading without any problems".
What do you think about it? Maybe things have changed in last 4 years? With my current provider I get only 2GB of disk space for $10 per month..
Any ideas and suggestions are much appreciated.
Try HostGator.
Disc space is cheap now and don't let that be your only selling point.
Do you need your own server or is shared OK? How much traffic do they allow? Server uptime?
I'm using HostMonster.com and they charge under $10 a month (cheaper if you buy in advance - 1-2 years). Unlimited disc space.
There is one that is great if you don't have a lot of domains, something like $15 a year and that includes the domain registration plus Hosting (not sure on the specs on this one) - if you're only hosting a few sites this may be the way to go (especially if someone else can clue us in on which service this is).

I don't think traffic is what's causing the issue OR diskspace. I have been in webhosting for 15ish years. A properly administered linux/unix server can pump out nearly a full GPS of data. 1 Mps is approx 320 GB of traffic. 1 GPS is 1000 Mps.
System resources usually means, you're sucking too much CPU and or ram. You probably are using some software that crunches a lot of either DB requests, intense video and or chat services. Usually social networking sites have this problem.
You really have to understand what you are doing before you jump from bad to worse.
You probably won't run out of disk-space unless you do some sort of file Hosting..like photo sharing or community type things where people upload humongous amounts of data.
I am good enough to see a site and tell you what you need. PM me your site, I will give you a realistic opinion. or just post it here.
i use and am happy with GoDaddy. they have an unlimited plan for $15 per month. unlimited bandwidth, disk space, databases, web sites, etc. they also have great customer support.
the only knock i have on Godaddy is their web management interface is godawful SLOW. they need to port that site OFF of ASP ASAP

Deluxe Hosting is good
You can choose linux (for php based websites and other sites) or windows, you get enough disk space and bandwith at a relative low price, recommendable
I've been with Just Host for a bit now and so far so good. I have also assisted clients with setup on Bluehost which usually gains positive feedback.
Oh...if you go with Just Host, look for a coupon code that's good for 50% off a 2-year subscription. I think it worked out to something like $3/month.
Drivie
nice tip drivie let us know how that Hosting works out long term.
if u have one or more low traffic websites, go for hostgator, and if u r Hosting some heavy weight script or application, u must be earning something of it i suppose. If thats your business website, go for media temple. if the applications r really heavy and need lots of space maybe u need a VPS. It all boils down to how much bandwidth you are using and do you have a proper business model to justify the heavy bandwidth usage costs(if any)
