Please review my new site: OilPrice.Com - DNForum - Domain Sales, Domain Forum, Domain Appraisals, Domain Registrars

We have just finished building www.OilPrice.Com and i would love to hear your views on the site.
Basically what we do is give away financial data, commodity quotes that would normally cost hundreds or thousands of dollars a month.
We have also created charts and data panels that you only need to copy and paste - so it's incredibly easy to have good looking financial data on your site for free.

We have also lined up some great financial journalists and Economists to add articles to the site - to keep the content updated daily and also be of interest to visitors.
(please don't let the quality of the current content fool you - it's not bad , but what you'll see in a month is in a different league.)

My one concern is that the homepage looks a bit too busy.

Anyway i would love to hear your reviews - sepecially on layout and colours.

Loads very fast for large amount of content - nicely done. Layout is solid. But yes, site looks busy. One design rule of thumb is that you shouldn't use more than two typefaces on page. Also noted three different background colors for title and menu bars (light gray, dark gray and blue). Using only one color might add some continuity; personally I like the blue background (though you would then probably need to add a bit to the title graphic).

Busy, perhaps. But the audience you appear to be attempting to court gets their info immediately.

Overall, I like the site and appears very professionally done.

Nicely done. All the info visitors are looking for is right there on the homepage.
I really like your header graphic and background as well. Good luck with the site.

I like it...its very well done.

It may look a little busy to those who are not used to reading financial data sites but looks like a gold mine to those who are. I've added it to my favorites.

Site looks very nice. It is a little busy, but people can still find the info they are looking for. Are you using a custom WP theme? Good luck.

Hey guys - thanks for your comments, i really do appreciate them.
I think there's still a bit of work to go on the design front - BidNo, i'm having a think about what you've suggested.
