well when you put [recommend], it makes it sound like a third party is recommending your service which means alot more to potential clients.

I'm looking for someone to host a forum for me. Can you tell me how i would go about it? I have a domain name already for it held at registerfly...so what exactly is involved? can i upload via my dsl connection, or do i need to dial up a number you give me?

I dont think this plan at $10 a year would work for you, it looks like you only get 600mb transfer per month unless I am reading it wrong.

I am not sure what the transfer amount is for DNforum, must be high.

I think at least 5gb transfer is what you should look for.

I guess you could start off with less until things picked up, say 2.5gb, anyone else think otherwise?

You wouldnt want to go over your limit, you will get charged an arm and a leg for the overage. Better to play it safe.

No offense, ptez; but 60MB webspace + 0.6G bandwidth is not a particularly attractive plan.

We usually recommend 20MB/2GB to our start-up clients. Unless you are running an on-line catalog or gallery, that will be more than enough for the next 12 months.

A discussion forum like this one is very different (or "drainy" to be more acurate). Ask gregr and he'll tell you that this board might actually eat up to 6GB per month.

We never over-sell our product.
So we must follow the 1:10 rate.
I will suggest you to buy two units, that makes you have 200M with 2G bandwidth,
or more units if you need.

If you just want to order extra-bandwidth,
it will be more expensive because we have to order extra bandwidth for you.
We have to pay 1GB Transfer (extra) - $3.00 per month.

However, we can try to squeeze some bandwidth for you.
Please PM me about your need, and I will tell you how much for the add-on.

However, you can choose anyone you like to install them on your website.
