Is anyone redirecting their traffic to vstores or other virtual store sites?
I currently park my doms at the registrar until I either A. sell them or B. develop them however in the interim I am probably leaving some money and traffic on the table.

Any help would be great!

At least free host the good ones to check their stats, they have a direct value on the domain to.

I've used vstore .. sent my stores tons of traffic ... no sales. Just my experience mind you, but I have heard the same from others

Same here, ilikebeer, I sent them about 5,000 hits over time and not one sale.

Their setup is great, lots of stores to pick from, easy control panel, etc.
A real shame, too.

I am another vstore user who's had HEAPS of traffic but no sales. Sometimes I wonder whether there are sales and perhaps I just don't know about them.

Could they do that? Would they do that? It seems odd to me that not ONE sale of any product over a long time and a lot of hits. ???

vstore is not good at converting traffic into sales or commissions for you. You are better off using cj.com and finding affiliate programs that specifically target the visitors to your domain. Then point your domains at these affiliate links.

It works well for me.

sounds like a good plan RJ - thanks. I'm a member of CJ so I really should pull my finger out and get over there to see what they can offer.

Shame really 'cause the sites look good and the products look good - just no buyers. (Sounds a bit like the domain industry.)

vstore is the worse..same here sent them, tons of traffic but oddly enough no one ever bought anything ! yeah right !

I dont know RJ I am sick of CJ also...always changing codes , clients that dont pay etc..

I have found that you get the best deals by looking for companies that still handle their own affiliate programs..usually higher commissions AND better replys to emails and phone calls..much more responsive to their customers.

I am dropping Art.com because they are switching to linkshare..they have had problems with affiliate ID theft(link share)..I think that whole industry is experiencing that problem.."affiliate ID thefts as an order is being placed"

I am adding a new company for my posters that will lead into a more brandable situation for me and I can slowly start buying "stock" at wholsale and get away from the affiliate thing..at least for my main site Posters.Biz.
