    RR stands for rail road

I have 3 registry rocket accounts.
On one a single customer regged about 70 domains.
    Not bad from one customer.
Then some joker ran over those profits like a freight train, he regged DNs using a fake credit card number and wiped out all the profits from the other guys registrations.
Its not that much money, but I spent a lot of time emailing back and forth w/this customer, and wind up losing money.
Sure there are other customers, maybe one will regg 30-50 over time, but he was the only one to come in an register a bunch all 'at once.

Something to consider if you are thinking about going into this.

How did he wipe out profits? Didn't ENOM release the names once the cc was found to be bad?

    Hello,

This is the first time that this has happened. As far as I know, you lose the commission, and $6.95 for each false regg is subtracted from your commissions.

Im still waiting to hear from eNom about a DN transfer. The money was taken, but the DN still shows as about to expire soon.
After a couple emails, still no answer on that one.

I'll have to add a year to it at a higher rate if it doesn't 'go through' soon.

Also I only regg each one a year at a time, and have several that are coming up.
Hope I don't have to add a year to all of them at more than $6.95.

    Explain this Guy's..

Someone reg's using a Fake CC...

    arent the names deleted?

    and if so..

Then all you lose are your commissions ? why would an additional $6.95 be deducted ?

I mean if YOU pay $6.95 and resell at $8.95 ..then MR fraud comes along a regs wiith a bad CC...
isnt the domain just deleted.. and your reseller account is deducted only $8.95 ..NOT an additional $6.95 ..?

So you dont "lose" anything..it's more you just didnt get a sale you thought you had..

is that correct or are they charging you fee's for accepting a "bad" CC? (as if somehow thats your fault)

I guess that guy who was charging $99 a name was on the right track then.

    RE:
'And did you know that for RR registered domains, you cannot change the admin contact info and that the person who owns the RR site (the reseller) can!??! I don't know about you, but I don't want anybody else being able to change this very important piece of information on any of my domains.'

    Hi,

I've had several customers who have told me about domains they have subsequently sold.
One really cool customer (no pun) figured out how to solve this.
    Just go to:
    access.enom.com
And you can change the Admin contact info.
