yeah i remember this being in i think it was in a snapnames auction and i was gonna bid on it but forgot about it,very niche but thats where the money i these days.......

I am itching to launch this domain.
There are so many kind of scanners.
Computer scanners, Radio and Police Scanners, Medical scanners etc.
I am thinking of launching an affiliate site with reviews etc.
What do you guys think is the best segment of scanners to go after?
Medical, computers, police, medical or something else?

I would concentrate on police or computer. If I had to pick one, I would go with police. You could do a landing page on the main domain and have sub-domains for different types too?
Check the affiliates for each and see who pays the best percentage. My guess is police scanners are going to be the highest paying niche with the least competition.
