SEO Web Sites / Link Exchange

I realise that this forum is devoted to Domains but i feel that it could be a very vaulable source if DN Forum create a catergory for link exchanges. Alot of sites are now design around themes and i feel that this is the way forward for search engine lists. Part of this theme process is links. It helps develope the site if it has incoming and outgoing links related to the them.
If a section was set up here if could be usful for building contacts. For example, a Real esate site could link to another user that has a site on home improvments.
It makes sense but what do you lot think about it?

Excellent. So more people must be interested. Just to stress a point. I dont mean a link exchange to just any site as some of you will know, this does not always help your ranking. I suggest that its just for people to aquire links to associated sites.
Is management reading this? What are your views on the subject.

There is a section in www.seoforum.com specially for finding link exchange candidates. I too know that link popularity is very important for your search engine placement.

Oh, and another good thing is to try to get your websites listed in DMOZ and Zeal. I am proud to say that SEOforum.com made it to both.

In full agreement. A good place for people to learn is by reading a book by canned books. Not sure of the site though sorry. Looksmart and Yahoo are well worth the directory fee's as well!

After looking at the above mentioned forum, with no disrespect to the forum, i feel that there is still a place for such a section here due to the number of users. SEOforum will no doubt take off but until then?
