I want to launch a search engine/directory type site, but want to have PPC capabilities. Anyone know of any turnkey type scripts out there or share some experiences?

A few months ago I was looking for the same script. I got a reference to http://turn-k.net/k-search/ - maybe that'll work for you. As for me I still haven't found the one that would satisfy my needs (so I'll probably get someone to develop it for me).
