You can ask member YesOnLine, he lives in the region and is webmaster of ChinaTrade.info.
Thanks, Mark!

Isn't cnauctions.com a scam?
I ask because email.com.cn is listed on auction, but it's already an active site (I didn't bother to check other names...)
I don't understand how the names can be auctioned off if they're already owned by others.
JapaneseDomains.com - cheap .jp registrations, English language interface, no local presence required. Alphabetic & IDN names supported. Bulk pricing available.
Selling to China and the rest of Asia ?
Well, I guess I will be located in the heart of it. I'm in Singapore.
Typically the scenario here is very unlike when you get in the States or even in Europe. Asians are conservative by nature and are very protective of their properties ... meaning, they would be relatively "afraid" to shop and purchase online using their credit cards ...
maybe "afraid" isn't the right word to use ... more likely "apprehensive" - but certainly in Singapore, alot has been done to educate the users on the security features and its convience ... this has made headway in the recent months and I'm sure purchases and traffic from Singapore will increase a great deal.
As for the rest of the region, let me do a quick summary :-
(PS - These are my own opinons and by no means the standard understanding)
- Philipines / Indonesia -> From the way that smaller online retailers are blocking purchases from these countries, you should get the hint ... but they are not to be discount. Given time and the proper infrastructure and better economic prospects, these markets could flourish
- Malaysia -> Very much like Singapore. A well industrialized country with a fair high penertration rate of internet users.
- China -> Whoa, imagine the masses ... But do remember that China's market is opening up but IMO they need to regulate it a fiar bit ... it's running wild at the moment .. but potentially, western cultures and products are the pick of the moment...
So much for a quick update ... if there is anything specific which needs to be answer, you know how to get me ....
