    Server Monitor

Just got a cheap reseller account to host unlimited domains on (through addon domain feature).

I am looking for a 3rd party service to monitor uptime and notify me when the server / site goes down.

Does anyone know of a free / cheap service I can use?

You can use a script for that. Just go to HotScripts.com and choose either a Perl or PHP and then go to the 'server Management' catagory.

If you don't want to install a script, you may find a 3rd party service under "Remotely Hosted" at HotScripts, probably in the 'Networking Tools' category.

    I use easymonitor.com

Good service and it's free. They will e-mail you when your server goes down, and again when it comes back up. Just make sure your e-mail account is elsewhere.
