Hate to be the bearer of bad news but:

1. It's "se vende por el dueño". ñ in Spanish is a completely different letter than n, to the point where a Spanish keyboard would have both an ñ and an n on it.

2. Spanish is a very literal language, and looking at Google, only 10 Google for the EXACT phrase with more than 600,000 for the words without quotes, and if you look at results, it's used more like "se vende casa por el dueño" etc. with whatever they're selling. Compare both of those #s to 26,200,000 for "for sale by owner" exactly and something's not right. It could just be that it's not a very big phrase in latin culture.

Bottom line: Any decent Spanish phrase is and has been long gone. If it's a language you're not familiar with and looks too good to be true, ask someone from that culture.
