Re: ULTSEARCH - how does he do it?

The results are an xml feed from find what. Likely he has a program that generates a page and as you can see the logo is actually text so it would be fairly simple to input simple text into a template and associate the content with the xml feed.

Re: ULTSEARCH - how does he do it?

He probably has a large hosting bill because he serves 100,000 visitors plus daily, not because he has a bunch of domains. Most search providers offer XML feeds.

Re: ULTSEARCH - how does he do it?

I agree. There are also XML feed scripts you can buy to pull info from the search engines. I thought that Ult dropped findwhat though and had switched to another provider.

Re: ULTSEARCH - how does he do it?

Its VERY easy.

just grab the domain from the $HTTP_REFERER var in php.

Not hard at all

And search a specific category..

Re: ULTSEARCH - how does he do it?

NameTower is correct.

I've been doing it for all my for sale domains:

e.g. http://IDEOGRAM.NET - http://MELANCHOLIC.ORG

etc.

Looks like he already has it.

Maybe through a third party (smartname.com?) or directly.

http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=car...t&cop=mss&tab=
http://www.ultsearch.com/s?k=cars&t=1081312800903

They match.
FindWhat's doesn't anymore.

Yes, simple PHP will do.

Try:

http://www.inkwelldocumentation.com

Even title, referral URL and link from the HOME button can be "customized".

Re: ULTSEARCH - how does he do it?

what he does is relatively simple altogether, i am 90% sure everything ultsearch does is automated.

is ultsearch a person or organization?

Re: ULTSEARCH - how does he do it?

err... is that a yeah or no?

id guess that 50,000 domains could only be bought by a team of people.

but the title suggests that 'he' is singular... :-S
