    Using domains for email places

How do these work exactly? What is the benifet to you?

Like I hear of places that you setup your domain or something & then you can promote giving away free email addresses from one of your domains.

I think edwin does this from everyone.net or something.... I may be wrong, I'm a little clueless...

Yes, I do the same thing with my www.Assessor.com and www.WildlifeRehabilitators.com . The first has 700+ users and the second over 1,600. I personally don't like the service anymore. Once you get over a certain number of users you actually have to pay them $10 for each report on who is using your service. That's BS. Besides that, everyone.net has turned into a huge SPAM factory IMO. I get a lot of SPAM regarding sex sites, peni* enhancements, and Viagra from their lists and worse yet; users of my domain name's service use that for SPAM as well.

Looking to end the relationship with everyone.net, but check out their site and you'll find there is no phone number anywhere and email responses are few and far between.

Let's just say that when you have a very large userbase, the customer service experience is an order of magnitude better than Dealster is reporting

On the other hand, I can't really give much in the way of advice re. getting started with Everyone.net now, unless you either have a large amount of existing traffic or you're willing to pay for the service. They have fairly stringent eligibility criteria for their free service (they stopped offering it to any site about a year or so ago, and now they only offer it to very large partners)

    Edwin,

You mean they actually respond to requests for lists of your own users without charging you for it and that they don't sell their (your) lists to anyone willing to pay for it without regard to how sleazy the content?

    Of course!

But then I have 112,000 users, so the situation is a bit different.

WOW!!! Not bad Edwin. If I can ask; is this a partnership with your EmailAccount.com? Thanks,

Ok, I have a Q now, do they pay you?

Or do you get to advert your own ad at the bottom?

    Why partner with them? THanks

I have a bunch of domains (ex: ihatemath.com approaching 1500 users to private personal email service with just one user, boychik.com) set up with oemmail.com.

They have several premium options, but basic email setup is free.

You can also set up by using www.domaincow.com's NS.
(Uses oemmail.com, but they do the setting up without registering through oemmail.)

You get one 468X60 banner in rotation with their ads.

HOWEVER, you also get to place a tag that will appear at the bottom of every sent email. (Use it wisely.)

Which of these services is best and permits "no spam"? I would like to begin a service such as this with a but I don't want my members personal info sold or box filled with junk mail. I like imail by ipswitch.com but kind of costly. So there is only oemmail.com and everyone.net that I have heard responses on any more?

How did you guys advertise or get so many signups?

Edwin how long have you had this account?
