    Question Virtual Server

I'm considering buying a virtual server which is approx. £500 per year. Will this allow me to host all my domain names, create pop3 boxes and actually host websites?
This is what i hope it will do, if it wont can someone recommend whats the best route to take please.

It will do all that for sure.

However, you can spend a lot less and get yourself a Hosting reseller account.

    My preference is Voxtreme.

whats the difference, that way would i beable to host other companies websites, domains and create pop3 boxes for them? What sort of cost do you pay and are there any max limits for number of domains and web space?

    Thanks

No limits, within your disk allocation, on domains hosted, pop3 etc. Swing over for a look.

What you are talking about is a DEDICATED SERVER, not a virtual one! And if you are not sure about the difference then the next best thing is a reseller plan on Dathorn.com I have just moved all my domains to them a month ago and love their service. Their only drawback, they are a small company.

    Hope this helped...

www.memset.com will set you up with a "miniserver" starting at a bit over £30 with extra for FULL webhost Manager/Cpanel control panels which enable all you will need.
Support is good and in the UK on the South Coast.
    WHM/CPanel tutorials available at www.demodemo.com

Worth a look and is a Virtual server (VPS/VDS)
Contrary to other posts you may not need a dedicated server, a virtual server may well be MUCH better, especially if you have little server knowledge and will need support. Most dedicated servers come with little or no support except by serious support package.

That having been said no problem with servers in the US - I have 2 in the US and 1 in the UK.
