I like this color when I started out with it..now everything seems to be blending together..

What would be a good complementary accent color I could include ?

or does it look fine the way it is?

Also on the State pages.. what would be a few more helpful tools for someone thats making arrangements to go to some convention? I have (or will have) the usual Car,Air Hotel rentals, mapos, calendar, dictionary..


maybe a "Fast Facts" area on each state? size of State, population, unemployment, etc ?

Entertainment while in town...Sport teams, Theatre etc..?

Would that be of interest or am I going to start cluttering everything?

btw..all the Convention centers will have links to their site ...so thay can get all the latest updates for each center ..

Revenue is to come form the Air, Hotel , car links.. and the idea is down the road after traffic develops I can then sell Ad space to the major vendors that serve these Convention Centers

BTW..the Calendar on the right..when you load the page can you see Feb dates or do you have to hit the "Today" button?

I am using XP...and it loads perfect.. I have another machine with 98 on it and I need to hit "today" otherwise it's just a blank calendar...

first thing i noticed is that the site isnt optimised for 800 resolution - you might lose some visitors because of that

there is also a lot of white spoace at the bottom of every page

regarding the links to the affiliate sites - i think you should create a go between page for every site

for example, at the moment when you click on the aeroplane it goes straight to http://www.economytravel.net, what you should do is create a page called flights or whatever and then place sokme info about http://www.economytravel.net. For instance "We've teamed up with EconomyTravel to being you the cheapest flights etc etc"

That way you dont need to worry about the cj link thing and simply link to the site with a banner - youll also have more pages on your site which will increase the number of entry pages to your site

no problem mate - i ran a shopping directory for about 2 years (im going to start one again when i get time actually) and so i've got a lot of experience in sites similar to yours

Do you use FP.. I have a number of Icons that will all have the same hyperlink.. I know I can save it so that it saves the link also throught the web site. a theme of sort.. just dont know how

I have about 10 icons/buttons like this and 55 pages ..thats 550 links I'd have to do by hand if I cant sort that out..

Did I mention I am sending you DNF ?
