Looks like they are going through a site change or a "migration" as they call it. They get a ton of visitors to their site. I don't like some of their rules but with a board of that size it's necessary.

Yeah I noticed that too. The problem with webhostingtalk is 90% of the users are resellers. Its hard to get a real honest opinion on Hosting there because all the users are just trying to get more customers. Well, I don't know that for a fact (Just my opinion).

Did you realize that this board is now about the same size?

As of today Alexa ranks WebHostingTalk #1913 among all websites for traffic. Domain Name Forum is #2115 (those numebrs are both based on 90 day averages). Greg said this week's numbers show DNF in the top 1400!

but webhostingtalk is much bigger in terms of users and post.

I think the domain resellers use the Alexa toolbar more than the Hosting resellers, IMHO.

As of today Alexa ranks WebHostingTalk #1913 among all websites for traffic. Domain Name Forum is #2115 (those numebrs are both based on 90 day averages). Greg said this week's numbers show DNF in the top 1400!

I love when domain speculators overstep their boundaries by adding input (as well as asinine comments) on topics they know nothing about. Always humorous.

alexa is very unreliable

ant any given time, the average number of online users is probably about 3 times as much as here - it has been online longer though

Size was the wrong word to use as I was referring only to traffic as reported by Alexa. WHT is obviously much bigger in membership, posts, etc. I also understand that Alexa is far from being a precision instrument, though it can be useful for a broad view of traffic trends (especially if you factor in results that are skewed by the large # of domainers who run the toolbar). WHT also took another big step up in Alexa ranking this week (1700 range).

I used too frequent that board, till I was banned..

Reason: Someone made a post asking/wanting a specific "domain name"

I replied with the few I had/names that fit the bill..

They banned me for spamming..

unbelievable.
