Website HELP Please :-)

I am trying to get a non profit organziation website together....a site where we can show our communties rescued pets that need homes. I have need to find a web host that has software where I can design the site and have LOTS of photos without having to know HTML. Where do I start? Any suggestions?

You could always use the 4images script as your Gallery. It is all managed through an Admin Control Panel via the web.

You can upload images through your browser and automatically create thumbnail images for each, very easily.

The script allows people to send the images as eCards, download the pics to their computer, rate the pics and write comments about the pic.

You can have different categories for Dogs, cats, birds, fish, tigers etc...

People who become members can also have a Light Box where they can keep track of their fav pics, kinda like "add to favorites"

This is a site I am kinda working on, www.funnypic.net it is using 4images, check it out, it might just work for your needs.

that sounds really interesting, at first we will only have dogs until we can raise money to house cats and other critters. I'm really excited about this as our town has so many GREAT dogs that need homes and nobody knows about them because we have no shelter of any kind. I know of many purebred pets that people are paying high dollar for labs, golden retrievers and more! How much would the monthly cost be?

We could start you off with 100mb space and 2000mb data transfer at $4 per month. Once your site popularity grows we can add additional space or transfer as needed.
