Send a message via Yahoo to ecomindia

There are many ways you can do it for free,
Softwares like IBP and WEBCEO are excellent , even for beginners.

They help you find your website related other websites to exchange links.

Directory Submission, TAG networking are good to do but SE submission is must to do

Regards
Dipendra

link building can go many ways

some people submit to link directories, link generators etc

others do reciprocal linking, where i link to you and you link to me and and so on and so on.

you can also buy links on other websites if they advertise for acceptance.

if you site has any decent content, then sooner or later it will get botted, spidered, crawled and finally indexed in the SE's.

Good Luck

What ever technology u use to develop website, it should be clean and SE friendly.

Content is the key, be it any search engine you talk.

other than what's already been said, one great SEO tactic that's not mentioned very often, but that I recommend is launching an image gallery on each one of your sites. If you put up a lot of images into some sort of image gallery on your site, those images get indexed in Google Image Search and I get a lot of traffic from people coming in from Google Image Search. Try that for just another way to build traffic.

Of course, there are all the other standard ways - link exchanges, link submissions, etc. In the end, if you're busy (like I am) its best to hire this stuff out to teams / firms in India where its low cost.

Yeah, good point. I have had sites where a huge amount of traffic came in from google due to an image gallery. This worked massively well partiuclarly on my footballer and gaming console sites.

Some of the image generating stuff seems to over less SE friendly although they look great. I found the old free to install stuff like coppermine to work amazingly. Sometimes you cant beat the old-school ways.
