What would a site with 100k visitors (earning $250/day) be worth?

I have a video (youtube like) site that earns $250/day and I get 100,000 visitors daily.

What do you suppose the website would be worth?

Really depends. You would have to provide more information before a number could be given. Many questions to be answered, here are a couple that quickly come to mind.

What is the domain
Hosting costs
how long has it been earning $250 a day
where are your visitors from - region, referrers.
how are you generating revenue.

its been up for 1 year
visitors are from all over, usa makes up 60%

try 36 months...about the going rate for something like this, but even then adsense is a big "maybe" as far as long term reliability and so is ppc for that matter...unless you have some outrageous great generic domain name worth alot by itself..

(and even at 36 months it's like 250k) If earnings are steady and the site is good and of nice quality and subject matter you might ask for more...but still finding the buyer is the hard part.....not many people have a budget that allows for a purchase of this size..

There is 2 main questions:
- if traffic comes from traffic trades
- if it's an adult traffic

Sounds like you're getting ripped off with Hosting at $1k/month. What's the spec of the server, bandwidth speed/allowance etc.?

I assume he uses more then 1 server cause he has youtube-like website with 100K unique visitors everyday ...

I think 36 months, might even be a little optimistic. My guess is the content is user generated, available on many diff video sites, and assuming there is little unique about the site , 18 - 24 months might be more realistic.

if it is utbe like site I think not more than 3 years. The problem is that sooner or later utube will come to some kind of arrangement with all the parties, and by that I mean that everyone is going to be paid by you tube. It doesn't even matter how many videos you have from HBO - one or a hundred - once they will agree with utube on the terms they will come after smaller guys like you. This may never happen though, but if I would be buying a site liek that I would definetely consider this point.
