Whats the Best way to promote a website?
my wife owns AvonHub.com and what would be the best thing to promote it? its just a generic avon website but she wants to build a large portfolio of buyers.. Any help would be appreciated. Todd

1. Content is king. Build useful and unique content about your topic.
2. Exchange links with other sites that have a similar topic. This increases your visibility on the web and the more sites that link to yours the higher you will rank in the search engines.
3. Submit your articles to article directories. This will give you the chance to publish your content on other sites and it will provide a one way link to your site.
4. Blogging. Start a blog on your website and also respond to other blogs or forums on other websites to get your name out there and to establish credibility.
5. Directories. Submit your site to directories. Some directories will allow you to submit your site for free while others will require a one time fee to be included.
