Anyways, ive got the money set aside to start my own registration company. Not a resellers, something like namecheap, GoDaddy, ect...
Besides the actual coding and design
s, what is needed? Do I need any licenses or something? There’s got to be some stuff that I need and I would appreciate a nudge in the right direction. Thanks a bunch.
Andrew
If you want to be for real, you will want accreditation from ICANN. Go to www.icann.org
PPCIncome.com for a comparison of Pay Per Click parking services
namecheap.com is a reseller of Enom.com
You need to get ICANN accreditated :
http://www.icann.org/registrars/accr...on-process.htm
Ask Elequa hes just done it with www.i.net
Elequa didnt get accredited.
And its DomainDomain thats the registrar I believe.
As for ImageFuel,
Are you sure you have the money set aside?
Its not a mere $10k.
Its more like 100k-500k, it also takes over 12 months for ICANN to review your application. 12 months would be expidited, ICANN is very backlogged.
As well, there really isnt much $ leaft in that market.
Everyone is trying to sell names @ A few $ each profit. Web.com only charges $6.95 to endusers and ev1 is currently selling @ 5.00 (5.41 w/ taxes).
BigFoot and 1&1 are currently marketing to endusers at incredible prices.
I am not sure this is a market to go into.
But to each his own![]()

Well Steen i right it isnt cheap very expensive and time consuming +lawyers and all that stuff. You have to have your own servers firewall and so on.
True my registrar is accredited under domaindomain.com but hopefully by next month the accreditation will change to i.net and am ready to roll. Again my registrar i.net is just for my domains not the public. To be honest its cheaper to have a reseller account at a registrar but due to the large amount of names i have its easier to keep track of my names in my own personal registrar. I dont recommend you to start one. It may take years to get accredited from ICANN.... in my case i bought an existing registrar which made the process faster.
