    Where to buy a SSL certificate?

    What are your considerations and choice when buying a SSL certificate? I think Verisign, Thawte and InstantSSL are the more popular ones, but their price varies greatly (just like domain registration?).

    I can sale thawte SSL's which are proven to be the best in the business. I will stay away from anything Verisign ever promotes so go with thawte.

    Actually, comodo (instantssl) certs are chained (they use baltimores root). Chained certs are not as reliable as true certs that use their own root.

    Geotrust, Thawte, and Baltimore use their own roots, and are recommended.
