|  Who are the world's best web host from your experience?
I refer to http://www.hostindex.com to get a feel of who's best.
I used to like Innerhost.com a lot until they were bought over by Interland. Goes to show how competitive and predatory things are 
I'm now testing http://www.vianetworks.net and they seem really on top of the latest hosting technologies, especially if you are into Microsoft hosting.
Any personal favorites you can vouch for?

| I know this sounds bad but I deal with www.PureHosts.com and love them
They are cheap and even cheaper with thier packages on ebay.
Whne I bought it I thought it was a resseller, but the guy rents the server with a friend. There are only 10 sites hosted on this server.
Live help for most hours of the day through his site (IRC) MSN or AIM.
I like em.
Quite a few features

| I'm a big fan of Westhost ( http://www.westhost.com). I've had sites with them for 4 years, and they've been fantastic. I have my traffic monitored by an site monitoring service, and they've recorded 99.94% overall uptime, which is great.
I've never used more than what's provided in the $7.95 account.
