    Wordpress Help - Is this possible ?

    Does anyone know if this is possible in wordpress or if there are any plugins to do this:

    1. Setup different membership level (e.g. student, expert)
    2. Users can register and post threads/questions that automatically get posted as posts (e.g. askinglaw.com)

    Thank you in advance

    Yes, you can do it with a standard install. You can give those that sign up as users different roles -

    There are probably plugins that offer more control though.

    Both these features come standard with Wordpress.

    1. Wordpress has got built in user levels as described by whitebark above.
    2. There is a feature in WP admin where you can set an email where what ever you send will be posted as a post. The plugin listed by Arizal above basically does the same thing.

    1. Best user role mgmt plugin: http://justintadlock.com/archives/20...rdpress-plugin
    2. This is wide open. There is a rather simple plugin that allows creating a post forms that wiil create post from the front end. It's called Gravity Forms. This can also be achieved with the Members plugin via the back end. You could also just try assigning proper permissions status to allow them limited postiing vapbilities

    If like you want a yahoo answers clone for your niche. This is something I have done before, so the resources to make it happen quickly are at hand. LMK.

    Last two things; I have a popular tax site which may be of benefit for promoting your legal website.
    2) I have a new WP theme that I hasn't been officially released yet, It's called rapidlaunch; a new to it does what it saysl

    Install one of five pre-releases available h0w,,, sent me a PM;
