Any reviews or opinions? I'm looking for some software to help build a site.

I have been using the software for a week and am very happy about it.

Pros:
- Don't need much time to learn how to use the software
- Easy to add content and graphics (header, footer)
- Easy to insert Adsense, Amazon code
- Fast FTP setup to update the site
- Great WYSIWYG editor
- XML integration & RSS feeds

Cons:
- Limited templates

Sites that I created using XsitePro 2
http://OCMDGuide.com
http://VisitLancaster.net
http://TeenBoardingSchool.net
http://GiftCardsOnline.org

I have the affiliate link in my signature.

Good luck!

John

Johnn covered it pretty well! Nice Ocean City site!

I used it to create http://www.7qb.com using an included template, and I am pleased with the outcome.

I see that one or more of your sites shows RSS feed headlines and an excerpt. What that done with a built-in function, and if so, does it have any flexibility with what and how much is shown?

John, I see you inserted your personal pictures at the very top.

I don't think OC will look like that tomorrow with the hurricane/tropical storm passing over on Saturday.

Nice job.

There is a learning curve to xsitepro.

Xsite2 rocks. You can read a couple reviews about it on my site.

As for the RSS feature, it's pretty much worthless from a search engine perspective. It uses java script so the search bots don't actually see the text on your web site.

Other than that it's worth every penny (and then some).

How does Hosting work? Use your own?

If you wanted to sell a site you created, could you?

Thanks for any help

Create the site using the software and you can setup FTP to your hosting.
This is the software to generate php and html files.
You can do whatever you want to.

Let me know if you need the link.
