avoid stormpay like the plague

I recently sold two hotel domains to a guy in turkey who didn't have paypal.Six weeks later I still haven't received my money from stormpay.Does anyone know which legislatory body online I can contact.

oh man that stinks. Are you sure its not the person that was paying you that he never paid? I have never used storm pay but i'm guessing its www.stormpay.com right? Sorry to here that dude. :emba:

Do you mean the money hasn't shown up in your Stormpay account? Or you tried to get it sent to you from Stormpay and it hasn't arrived yet?

I've used Stormpay in the past and had no trouble getting a check sent to me for my account balance.....it took about 10 days to arrive.

Yeah I mean stormpay.com I'll never use them again ! I've found their attitude unbelievable.The buyer paid funds into my stormpay account at the start of august.I requested a check, three weeks later the check still hadn't arrived (no apologies from stormpay just an email saying if I wanted to cancel the check it'd cost me)I requested another check straight after and they claimed it had been sent on the 15th of september.As of 28th of sep the second check hasn't arrived either.When I complained again no apology from stormpay but a threat that I couldn't use the help desk as I was being abusive( ie I had the nerve to complain that after 6 weeks I still hadn't received my money).UNREAL ! First and last time I use those cowboys.

I have used StormPay a couple times before and had no problems, got my money via check very quickly.

I have heard only good things about StormPay, so I think your problem is probably isolated...

I've been using StormPay for quite awhile now for hundreds of transactions and have never had a problem withdrawing funds through either check or Wire.
Checks usually takes upto 12 days to my location which is pretty good considering normal snail mail can take over 2-3 weeks, i.e my birthday cards always arrive a week late.
Lately I've opted for Wire which takes less than 5 days in most cases.
I can't comment on their support though as I've never had to use them yet.

There have been few friends of mine who have reported not receiving the checks. I have always withdrawn money through WIRE, but recently i have withdrawn my balance through check. Will post back when I receive my check . I have contact support few times. They replied to my emails in a day or two and on most occassions were helpful.

Well theres no way I'll use them again.Paypal's far better in my experience.Only used them in the first place as my buyer didn't have paypal.Seems to me like stormpay do their staff training @ the nearest cowshed.

Paypal certainly has a ton of flaws as well, overall I have actually heard more people who use StormPay prefer it, but a lot of people dont know about it
